There is hope for Treatment Resistant Depression

Spravato ® (Nasal Esketamine)

Our psychiatry team offers in-house Spravato ® treatments for individuals who have not had success with other treatment options for depressed mood, or whose symptoms include active thoughts of self-harm. This gentle nasal spray is administered in the office in a comfortable, private room. Spravato ® can offer fast, efficient symptom relief - to help you get back to being you.

about Spravato ®

Spravato ® is an FDA-approved treatment for adults with treatment resistant depression, or adults with major depressive disorder who are experiencing active thoughts of self-harm. It is a gentle nasal spray form of esketamine that is administered over the course of a few months. Treatments can help provide fast and effective symptom relief.

Treatments

You will come to the office for a series of ~2-hour appointments. Your psychiatry provider will administer a nasal spray, and you will sit in a comfortable private room, where you will be under the supervision of your provider throughout your stay. You will need a ride home, as treatments can cause drowsiness or other symptoms that can impair driving.

Insurance & Next Steps

Spravato ® is often covered by insurance. Before you decide to begin treatments, we will work with you to determine your benefits. Your psychiatry provider will meet with you to discuss the benefits and risks/side effects of treatment. We will make sure you know what to expect, and help you make a decision about whether Spravato ® is a good fit for you!
