  • Principals of Behavior Management: What drives your child's behavior and how to shape it effectively (e.g., giving effective commands, appropriate consequences, proactive behavior strategies such as reward charts and natural rewards)
  • The Developing Brain: Learning what your child is (and is not) capable of at different stages, and how to teach them critical skills.
  • Overview of different methods of discipline (e.g., "123 Magic"; "No Drama Discipline") and our thoughts on how to integrate these.
  • Personalized Feedback: Assistance in determining which strategies are most likely to work for your child and help making a plan.
  • Practical Experience: worksheets and exercises you will try at home to gain experience and apply what you learn in the course.

The course also includes a detailed manual/workbook that outlines what is discussed in the training, and provides worksheets and examples to use at home. The manual provides an easy way to share the information you have learned with your spouse/partner, grandparents, or other caregivers who did not attend in person.
