At WellSpring Child and Family Psychology, the goal is to help individuals and families achieve healthy, balanced, and meaningful lives - even when life brings the most difficult challenges. This is accomplished through providing a warm, inviting, and supportive atmosphere, paired with high quality behavioral healthcare treatments. Our providers love what we do and respect the individuals with whom we work. As a practice, we provide at least two years post-licensure supervision and consultation with senior clinicians for our early-career providers, and are dedicated to lifelong professional development, continuing education, and growth for our entire practice.

Dr. Jerome is a Clinical Psychologist experienced in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She uses an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and EMDR. She has specialized training and experience in trauma treatment and EMDR with both children and adults. Dr. Jerome enjoys working with families on fostering healthy attachments, developing effective parenting strategies, and improving family relationships.

Sarah Etu, Ph.D.

Dr. Etu is a Clinical Psychologist who works with adolescents, young adults, and adults. She utilizes a variety of empirically-supported treatments to best meet the needs of each patient. Dr. Etu works with a number of concerns, including anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, relationship problems, and depression. Dr. Etu has specialized training in working with eating disorders and body image issues.

Dr. Van Brunt is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who sees individuals over the age of 18. Dr. Van Brunt enjoys working with individuals with a variety of presenting concerns such as ADHD, trauma/PTSD, dissociative disorders, issues of identity such as gender and sexuality, infertility, caregiver distress, women's issues, and mood disorders. She is an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. She also has specialized training in EMDR and the treatment of trauma.

Katherine "Katie" Wallace is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults. Katie works with a wide range of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment concerns, family/relationship issues, post-traumatic reactions and problematic substance abuse. Katie has specialized training in working with adolescents struggling with substance abuse issues. She is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Katie is available for telehealth (virtual) appointments.

Catherine “Cat” Conger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents and adults. Cat has experience working with a variety of concerns, including PTSD/Trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, behavioral difficulties, family difficulties/problems, mood disorders, and codependency. Cat is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is a Certified Family Trauma Professional. Cat draws upon a number of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, existential/mindfulness techniques, play techniques, family systems techniques, and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

Dr. Cook is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who conducts comprehensive psychological, educational, and neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Cook is not currently taking new therapy clients, but has an extensive history of working with children (ages 5 and up), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has expertise and experience working with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, LGBT-specific issues and general life challenges. She has a particular passion for working with individuals of all ages with neurodivergence (e.g., ASD, ADHD, LD) and has extensive experience providing professional trainings in this area. Dr. Cook uses a combination of person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment strategies, and is also trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.

Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 30 years experience working with adolescents (14 and up) and adults. Kate has experience addressing parent-child conflicts, adolescent behavioral concerns, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD/trauma, LGBTQ specific issues, sexual abuse, relationship conflicts, and domestic violence. She also has extensive experience running adolescent and parent groups. Kate has been trained in Positive Peer Culture, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, EMDR, Co-occurring disorders, and Critical Incident Stress Management. Kate often integrates creative and active techniques (such as ropes course techniques) into her therapy in order to make therapy engaging and productive.

Jessica "Jess" Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She enjoys working with individuals to help with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and grief, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and ADHD. She has a special interest in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities (e.g., Down Syndrome), as well as the LGBTQIA community. Jessica draws from therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and systems theory, and often integrates play and creative approaches in her work with children.

Dr. Wade completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver and her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Mary Washington. Dr. Wade provides services to adults with a wide range of presenting concerns including Anxiety, trauma, OCD, depression and mood disorders, and repetitive behaviors (e.g., skin picking and hair-pulling). Dr. Wade has over ten years experience working with military veterans and their families through her work at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and has a specialization in working with both civilians and veterans with trauma history. She uses an integrative approach utilizing techniques from Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and trauma processing therapy such as Prolonged Exposure and Written Exposure Therapy. Dr. Wade also sees a limited number of couples.

Dr. Hill has completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, and is currently a Resident in Psychology* at WellSpring. Dr. Hill has a special focus on working with individuals between the ages of 15 and 35. She enjoys supporting individuals through the challenges of early adulthood, including relationship challenges, eating disorders, sexual trauma, identify issues, LGBTQIA-specific challenges, anxiety, mood disorders, and self-injury/suicidal ideation. She uses a client-centered, relational approach that integrates psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral techniques (e.g., DBT, CBT).

Catharine Lloyd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children (ages 5 and up), adolescents, adults and families. She enjoys partnering with individuals and families to address a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, family/relationship problems, attachment issues, and post-traumatic stress. She has experience working with families navigating adoption and foster care, and is trained in Adoption Competency and Trauma-Focused CBT. Her approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness based practices, and trauma-informed approaches.

Courtney Tidwell is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children and adolescents (ages 8 to 18). She has extensive experience working within a school setting, and enjoys working with children and teens with ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, and and wide variety of school-related issues. She has extensive training in positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy.

Dr. Erin Palmwood is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who works with adolescents and adults to address concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anger management difficulties. Dr. Palmwood draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in conjunction with other treatments such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other mindfulness-informed interventions. She also uses Cognitive Processing Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention to address trauma and obsessive-compulsive symptoms, respectively.
