Integrated, Collborative, care
We are excited to offer co-located, collaborative psychiatry services to our patients.
|
WellSpring is pleased to offer integrated psychiatric (medication) services. In fact, having a psychiatrist on-site full-time is one of our most exciting developments! Coming from a background in integrated healthcare, our founding director is a firm believer that medical and behavioral health providers should work closely together to provide collaborative care.
Dr. Heather Henig, MD provides psychiatry services alongside our team of behavioral health providers, in order to provide a variety of treatment options that optimize our client's psychological wellbeing. Our behavioral health and psychiatry teams meet regularly to ensure that we are providing truly integrative, collaborative care. Having Dr. Henig on-site allows us to have regular communication, to share patient information more easily, and to monitor cases more closely as they progress with treatment. We believe this will be a tremendous asset to our patients and community. In addition to our on-site psychiatric services, our providers are committed to working with other community providers, and are happy to work collaboratively with whichever medical providers you choose. |

You do not need to be in therapy in order to see Dr. Henig, and may be in therapy with someone outside of WellSpring. Dr. Henig is happy to coordinate care with other community providers as well. |
"I firmly believe that the rapport between the physician and the patient is essential to providing effective care, and I always strive to maintain an open and transparent relationship. I am experienced in treating children, ages four and above, as well as teens and adults. My goal is to fully understand an

individual's experience by evaluating the details in order to understand the big picture.
I make my recommendations after carefully evaluating the whole situation, in order to assess the best course of treatment to help the patient manage their symptoms.” ~ Heather K. Henig M.D. |
