Full-Time Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (In-person or Hybrid)
WellSpring Child and Family Psychology, PC is a thriving multi-specialty psychotherapy practice (located an hour south of Washington, DC and an hour north of Richmond, VA) that provides services for children, adolescents, families, couples and adults in the Fredericksburg community. We strive to offer high quality, coordinated services for the entire family, as well as a number of innovative courses and groups.
WellSpring is seeking a full-time (part-time options available) Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (must be eligible for autonomous practice) to provide psychiatric services to adults, with options for geriatric psychiatry also available. The position is in-person at our main office with the option for a hybrid position where telehealth services are offered to appropriate cases.
The candidate will have the flexibility to design a practice based on their areas of interest. Hours are flexible, and we work with each new employee to create a work-schedule that is sustainable and fulfilling.
The position offers a split-fee pay structure that allows employees to maximize earning potential while also receiving support with billing, insurance, patient recruitment and registration, and other supports. Various employment options are available, including options with health insurance and 401k.
We work hard to promote a healthy and supportive work environment, and value the unique contributions that each clinician brings to the practice. The practice has a regular waitlist, strong community relations, and a steady referral base. We also value integrative care, and our psychiatry and behavioral health departments are fully integrated to promote continuity of care across specialties.
Minimum Requirements: MD or PMHNP required. Board certification in adult psychiatry. PMHNP's must meet requirements for autonomous practice in Virginia, including minimum 5 years experience.
